Boats to WL - from MK & Contemporary
How late into the evening do the run ?

4th of July night ?

We have a reservation for Spirit of Aloha, 5:15 PM show at the Poly.
(if it is raining and no boat, we can bus back from MK)

I heard if you are not a Poly guest, no beach watching fireworks, they check room keys. No problem with us. Plus we wnat to get back to the WL before the firework crowds hit the boats/buses/monorail.

Should we take the monorail after the SoA show to MK and take the boat back to WL ?
Or should we get off at the Contemporary and take the boat back from there ?

We always can watch MK fireworks from the WL beach.
It's ok not to hear music. My kids are not that thrilled over fireworks.

I don't know exactly how late the resort to resort boats run, but it's at least 10:00 PM or later during the summer. If you're going to the Luau at 5:15 you won't have any problems at all getting back to the WL via the CR-WL boat.

Even if you want to stay out later, the MK-WL boats run up to an hour or so after MK closes, and I would imagine on the 4th, the MK will be open till the wee hours of the morning, so that's an option for you as well.
