We will be staying at the WL in June. My son has a special needs stroller I use as a wheelchair for him. It is large (he is nine) and although foldable it takes time and it heavy for me. We will be going to a conference the first couple of days that is at the contemporary. From what I have read it seems the boats to MK are accessible without folding his stroller but the boats to contemporary are smaller and thus I would have to fold his stroller. I thought just to take the boat to MK and walk over to the contemporary those two days. What do you all think? I am used to pushing him and he is light for nine (only 48 pounds) but is the walk over a mile one way? I just don't want to hold anyone up taking extra time to fold his stroller, trying to lift it and also get him on the boat. Also how late do the boats run? One night we are going with the conference to EPCOT for a special dessert and illuminations private party. They will bus us back to the contemporary but then we have to get back to the WL. I think it will be about 10pm by then? Will the boats still run? Should we just take a taxi home from the contemporary? Any suggestions welcome!
