Boats at Downtown Disney..

Hi Guys.

Were looking at something different to do in Disney on our trip in August and someone came up with the idea of hiring one of the boats at DD.

I Have a few questions...

Has anyone ever done this?
How long do you hire them for?
How much is the cost??

Or any information you'd like to give me!

Cant help you with the price or the detail of the boats. I have only used sea racers at Grand Floridian.

I am sure someone will see this thread later and be able to help

Dont know if you know but there are lots of locations where you can hire Disney boats.

I think we were looking at one of the 8 people boats that you can go on between DD and Port Orleans

would do the boats at the poly, as tere faster than the ones at DTD.and you can go accrss the wake off the big boat transporting people to and from MK to transportation area.(better views as well)
We paid around £55 for 2 sea racers for an hour with DVC discount

The boats they rent at DTD are the same as the ones at the resorts. We rented one of the 8 seater pontoon boats at OKW this year and had a great time. You can rent them for as long as you like, you pay when you return. I think we paid $45 per half hour.
