Hi all.
Looking forward to a celebration meal in May at boathouse (1st time there.) We tend to like mid afternoon sit down meals at disney (like 2 or 3) versus evening, but not sure what I want to do yet. Can anyone clarify if the lunch and dinner menu are the same? Disney website suggests same options for both, restaurant menu looked different (last time I checked.)

Is the atmosphere noticeably different between afternoon and evening? (may or may not be on a weekend, still choosing date.)

Party is myself, husband and 20 yo son.

Thanks for any info you can provide on the menu as well as lunch vs dinner vibe.

From what I remember, the menus are the same. Atmosphere for dinner is a little more crowded and lively.

I believe the menu is the same for lunch and dinner. In addition I just checked their website and reservations are available at Opentable for 5/31 so I would guess you can make your desired reservation for May now.

We had dinner there for the first time in November around 4:30 pm and loved it! Our table was outside and the amphicars kept going by was really nice.

Remember the good ole days when the lunch menu was a little different and usually much less expensive? It was great for people like DH and myself, who prefer to eat their big meal at lunchtime. Now the only advantage is that TS seems quieter at lunchtime, and QS is usually quieter at dinner time (although QS is never truly quiet).

That's encouraging! I read that the outdoor tables are on a dock, therefore move slightly. This is a no go for us due to motion sickness tendencies. Otherwise, I would love to eat outside! Can you tell me anything about the outdoor dining options?

I did not feel a thing but I know everyone is different.

Does that confirm that outdoor tables are all on the dock as far as you know?
