Boat Rentals

I was just reading my Passporter and they said to check with your resort about the Family Plan for renting boats and bikes. You pay $115 per family for four hours of rentals. Has anyone here done this? I never knew this was available. We will be staying at the Beach Club, our next trip, and this is something we would be interested in.

i have never done it, but it seems like it would be a deal!

Is it 4 hours on one thing or can you split the time between stuff to rent?

I don't know. If anyone has done this, please let us know the details. It does sound like a good deal, especially if you can split up the time...an hour a day for four different days...sounds real good! Thanks!

This is the information I recieved on my last stay at Wilderness Lodge. I think the Plans are avaliable at all Resorts with Marinas.

Recreation Family Plans
Plan includes the Water Mouse, Pontoon Boats, Canopy Boats, Sailboats and Bicycles. (Cruises and Surry Bikes NOT included)

Captain Plan
4 hours of Rental per Group
$115.00 plus tax.

Family Plan
Length of Stay Plan (Weekly Rate for Use of Equipment Listed Above)
$199.00 plus tax
(up to 5 Guest per Plan)

I was also told that if you had Five adults you could list all five then when they took out Water Mouse that each adult could also take a child with them, If one adult took out a Pontoon Boat addition guest could accompany up to boat limit. I'm going with the Family plan on my next trip.

What is the normal hourly rental cost for the water mice? I thought it was $30/hour when we went in Dec '01. Has it increased?
