boat from studios to epcot

is there a direct boat or do they all stop at swan/dolphin, ycbc and bw??? which would be quicker--boat or bus??? it doesn't really matter to us if we enter thru future world or world showcase. thanks!

The boat stops at the Swan, Dolphin, YC/ BC and the BWI, it may not be the correct order but it does stop at all resorts and the goes to Epcot. We walked from the Studios to Epcot, it was just after Fantasmic had finished so the lines were horrible, the first boat was just leaving the dock and a second one was on its way. We made it to Epcot long before the second boat.

There is no bus. So you dont have that option. I love the boat ride. The boats are bigger and ride smooth.

It is about a 20-25 minute ride from the International Gateway to the MGM Studios on the boat. The boat stops at the BW first, then YC/BC, Swan/Dolphin, and finally the Studios. You can skip the BW stop if you walk from the Gateway to the YC/BC dock. You can also walk from EPCOT to the Studios but it will probably take you as long as the boat does.

There is no bus. So you dont have that option. I love the boat ride. The boats are bigger and ride smooth.

There IS a bus between MGM and Epcot. It runs on a fixed route, back and forth between MGM and the front of Epcot every 30 minutes or so.

I was told during our stay last year, there is no bus. I dont see the need for it. So if there is a bus that I didnt know about sorry for the wrong information.

As, Tyler says, "If the person that told you the information was not wearing purple pants, run away quickly".

Actually, the bus is very convenient. If you are at the front of Epcot, it is a lot easier to get on the bus than to walk all the way through the IG to the boat.
