We are staying next weekend and Magic Kingdom opens at 7:30 am next Friday. Does anyone know what time the first boat will run? We want to make sure we’re on it to take advantage of early entry

From the website: I thought it was 1 hour but...

Complimentary Resort transportation begins 45 minutes prior to Disney theme park opening time and up to 1 hour after Disney theme park closing time. Additionally, buses operate until 11:00 PM from the Disney Springs area. Certain areas of Walt Disney World Resort are also connected by well-lit, paved, low-grade walking paths.

Despite what the website says, park transportation begins running approximately 1 hour before posted Early Entry opening. For FW that might be just the bus to MK, with the boat starting later. Hopefully someone will come to clarify!

To be near the front of the crowd entering any given park for EE, the recommendation is to be at transportation (bus stop or boat dock, whichever will run) 90 minutes before posted EE opening time. Yes, that means if EE is 7:30, be at the transportation pickup spot at 6:00 if you want to be near the front of crowds entering MK!

This.

When the normal opening time is 9am, the first boat comes to the FW Dock at 720am and we get on and it gets to the MK dock about 745am and the Early Entry turnstiles at the MK entrance open up a few minutes before 8am and we all spill into Main Street to queue up near the Teacups for the 830am Early Entry.

So if the Early Entry time is moved up to 730am (for Friday October 3) that means all the times I listed above are advanced by 1 hour. They will have a bus running from the Settlement Bus Depot as well (but it seats fewer than the boat). We prefer the boat.

But that means the boat will get to the dock at 620am-ish and get you to the MK dock at 650am or so. Go thru the turnstyles to Main Street about 7am and wait for the 730am EE. At best you might get two rides started before 8am (official opening time) but that will put you ahead of the curve.

Thank you for the detailed response! It’s gonna be so early for us but I think it’ll be worth it. We would definitely rather take the boat. Our plan is to try and get Seven Dwarfs and then Space done. I’m hoping with it being so early and a party day that the crowds will be low.

Hopefully we can go back and take a midday nap lol
