There are little sea raycers which fit 2, can only be driven by someone over 16 (I'm not sure, but you may need a license). There's pontoon boats for rent as well, and guided fishing trips, and specialty cruises, and much more!
I did the family plan on my last trip to WDW and we all had a blast.
You can sign up to 5 people for boats and they can take the boats out any time they want for as long as they want each day of your stay. All drivers of boats must be 16 and must have driver's licenses to take out a boat, but you can let a younger driver take the wheel if you take out a pontoon boat and they won't bother you if you are seated with them.
You can use the watermice or pontoons, and I think this also includes the bikes too but we never took out bikes.
It cost me approx $265 with tax and we broke even on the 3rd day of our 6 day stay. We love the watermice and take them out at least an hour a day.
You don't get any refunds if the weather is bad so if you plan on using the family plan make sure you have clear weather for the time you are in WDW.
We take the boats from WL marina but did notice that the boats from Grand Floridian seemed to be the fastest on the lake while we were out. I am not sure if they have the family plan there however. Peggie
