Boardwalk

Flying Fish or Spoodles? We were going to eat at Le Cellier's but we did last time and seeing the boardwalk sounds good.

I'm leaning to Flying Fish, because sounds like they have good steak which I want, and fish which my husband wants. What time is a good reservations time that early enough, it will be a Sat night. so we can be finished and then still see some of the performers. They come out around 6:30 is that right? Figured we could eat 5:30 -walk and see some of the boardwalk and then still see other half of world show case.

Another question-Since we will be at Epcot worldshowcase anyway, we can walk to boardwalk from international gateway, right? It's not super long is it.

Figured we could come from our hotel Contemporary-take the two monorails, walk through worldshow case checking out stuff, walk to boardwalk, eat dinner walk back, then walk another side of worldshow case, go back to hotel on monorail.

My two cents:

Flying Fish all the way!
First ADR's have been at 5:30, on recent visits.
Not sure about the performers question. Have noticed them after 7:00 p.m. for sure. Not certain when they start up.
From IG to FF is a 5-7 minute walk, depending on pace.

We did Spoodles two weeks ago and my cousin did Flying Fish....

Go with Flying Fish!! Trust me on this!!

And we did walk to Epcot from the Boardwalk...maybe a five minute easy walk...enjoy!!!

Or you can take the boat from the International Gateway to Boardwalk...probably quicker to walk, but sometimes it's nice to be able to sit as well.

I think it is dependent upon what time of year you are going but when we have been there most of them are in the evening. The best ones seem to come on after Illuminations.

Flying Fish is much better but more expensive.

I would time your reservation so you are done and in the world showcase for illuminations which is usally 9:00

FF is insane! We had the most amazing meal there last month (pics and reviews are in my Oct link). Spoodles is great too but FF was so much better

I have never done FF but we really like Spoodles, I think it is a matter of preference, either would probabally work.

Short walk to the Boardwalk from the Int'l Gateway, less than 10 minutes. But, the walk from the monorail at the main entrance of Epcot to the Int'l Gateway exit in WS is pretty long. You have to walk through Future World first. Int'l Gateway is by France in the WS.

An alternative would be to take the bus from Contemporary to DHS, walk to the Boardwalk and enjoy your dinner (walk is between 10-15 min. depending on your pace), then check out the WS after dinner.

I'd pick Spoodles. Flying Fish is just entirely too expensive for what you get. And I wasn't thrilled with the service last time I was there.

We really enjoy Flying Fish.....
Spoodles we only go if we want just appetizers......leaves something to be desired.

Definately Flyng Fish! Both the steak and the snapper are great dishes!
