We own at Kidani, and, quite honestly, my favorite is the 1BR at Kidani, which I do at least 80% of the time. Christmas time 2013, I decided to change things up a bit and tried a 1BR boardwalk view at BWV. My assessment is that I would never have known if I hadn't tried it out. We were in the very last room on the ground floor. Our neighbors were really quiet, but, I guess because next door are the models to show prospective owners. It was a long walk from the lobby, but, we really only went to the lobby a couple times. Parking was about the worst of any place we've stayed at Disney, and we have stayed at AKV Jambo and Kidani, All-Star Sport, Music and Movies, BLT, Grand Floridian, Saratoga Springs, and have driven to dine at Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian. Kidani is way better, even on the rare occasion we couldn't park near the elevator nearest our room. The room design, specifically the BR/shower arrangement, isn't as nice as having 2 bathrooms in a 1BR. The rooms, in general, were designed before people routinely brought laptops and myriad other electronics, so, there weren't enough outlets, and no comfortable place to sit and use the laptop. The criteria was a comfortable chair and a large enough desktop to place the laptop securely in place. So, the room itself was "meh". It was great to be able to walk to Hollywood studios and Epcot in less time that the boats. It was nice, but, I don't feel compelled to go again.
