Boardwalk Villas 2BR availability at 7 months

Curious what everyone’s experience is getting BWV 2BR at the 7 month mark.

Currently, there are no 2 BR Boardwalk View or Standard View available. There is full availability for Garden/Pool View.

7 month mark isn’t until end of September. Booking for April of 2025.

What are the odds of it still being available at 7 months?

All 2 bedrooms are lock offs, so as soon as studios are gone, so are the two bedrooms. But there are a decent number of pool/garden so there is a chance.

Standard view studios (and 2BRs since all 2BRs at BWV are lock-offs that can be studios and 1BRs) tend to book full for any arrival date of the year within nanoseconds after 8 a.m. Eastern at 11-months out from date of arrival. Boardwalk view studios (and 2BRs) do the same during the high demand "fall" season that runs from late Sep to marathon weekend in January and sometimes during random times the rest of the year. Pool/garden view studios sometimes have that 11-month issue during the highest DVC demand times of the year -- first two weeks of Dec and Christmas week.

As for 7-months out, boardwalk view and standard view studios and 2BRs are usually unavailable regardless of time of year. Pool/Garden view is typically unavailable during that fall season but are open about 30-40% of the time the rest of the year. Though times in April can often be open, 2025 will be a problem because the two Easter weeks are April 13 to 27 in 2025, and the Springtime Surprise race weekend is April 3-6, which both have higher demand than other times in April.

Thank you. March is earlier than we’d be going, but similar situation with it being on a potential holiday week. And that’s what I’m afraid of.

you best bet may be to put in a waitlist request. we have done the 2 BR twice, but did that at the 11 month window because of the issue with the 2 BR being lockoffs. Good luck.
