Boardwalk Valet Parking

Checked out of a one night stay on points at the Boardwalk yesterday. Valet parked for the one night. While waiting for the car, I noticed a sign $25.00 per day for valet parking. Walked up and paid the $25.00. Started wondering today if I should have paid for parking as a DVC guest. Any advice?

Yep, that is what it now costs per day and being DVC or staying at the Boardwalk makes no difference.

Free DVC valet parking was taken away a couple of years ago.
