Boardwalk to Magic Kingdom

So what does everyone think is easier or more enjoyable way to get to MK from the BW.

1. Taking the Disney Bus from the BW bus stop

2. Walking to EPCOT and jumping on the monorail and transferring at TTC for MK?

We are staying at the BW with a 9 month old so I'm curious to see everyone's opinions!! Thanks!

Take the bus. Why waste energy waltzing through EPOCT when you can go down to the pick up and get right on. Unless they changed it? From BW it's a direct ride. Only on the return trips do you stop at the other resorts,

Take the bus! You would have to walk all the way through Epcot (World Showcase and Future World) to get to the monorail.

My family and I tried option #2 once...we never did it again. It's a long walk through Epcot. Option #1 is definately the easier option, and most likely the quicker option.

By far, take the bus. The only way I would walk to the front of Epcot would be if I was already there, and then take the monorail to the TTC, switch to the resort mono and then to MK. Way to much time and walking waisted.

Take the bus on the way up and ride the Monorail back down to Epcot on the way back. That way you can ride Spaceship Earth on your way thru Epcot and also stop for a Grey Goose slushie at France.

It would be much easier to take the bus from your hotel, you will be dropped off right near the entrance.

If you take the monorail, it is a pain.

First, you have to take the boat or walk to the International Gateway.
Second, you have to make a long walk to the monorail, then go up 2 ramps that are a pain with a stroller.
Third, you have to ride the monorail to the TTC.
Fourth, you have to get off there and walk down a ramp, then up another ramp to the express Magic Kingdom monorail.
After all of that, you will be at the Magic Kingdom.

Unless you are going to Epcot on the way back, you are better taking the bus back too.

I would definitely agree with pp who say take the bus! That is a long walk.

Easier = bus. More enjoyable? EPCOT!! Unless you're one of those people rushing to get to rope drop, why not take a leisurely stroll through (probably unopened) England and Canada, then Future World? A relaxing monorail ride or two. It's part of the experience

Haven't been to Boardwalk, but had a stay at BC - we took the bus to MK and it was actually pretty quick because there weren't any other hotels to stop at on the way. The Epcot to the Monorail thing sounds cool, but by the time you walk all the way through Epcot it'll be a very long trip.

Bus!! I stay at BWV all the time. The only time I walk through Epcot and take the monorail is if I'm trying to kill time, or plan to be in Epcot already!!!
It takes about 25 mins to walk through Epcot...back to front. Then, possible wait time for the monorail to get there, 10-15 min ride to TTC, transfer to the Express monorail and over to MK...way too much time.
The bus may have a 15 min wait and will probably stop at other resorts along the way, but it is always faster than going through Epcot and then taking the monorail.

Also, option #2 (walking thru EPCOT to the monorail) would require that you have park hopper park passes.

With a small child, perhaps the bus. As an adult, I will do much to avoid the bus. I will combine walking, ferries, and monorails at every opportunity. I told my daughter that once I got so familiar with Disney transportation, I began to feel like Tarzan swinging through the trees getting from here to there.
