The red asterisks are 1BRs you can add a 5th person to reservation, but need to supply sleep surface and bedding.

Notice Beach Club - they don’t allow this even though the studio has a higher occupancy than 1BR.

I think you can remove the asterisks for SSR 1BR, in the last hard goods refurb they added the Murphy bed under the TV in 1BRs. The 2BRs in fact sleep 9.

I might be mistaken, but I believe BCV does allow 5 staying on points, same as most others but no extra bedding. but I could be wrong.

You're not mistaken. The 1 bedrooms sleep up to 5 and dedicated 2 bedrooms sleep up to 9 if you provide your own bedding.
