Boardwalk Resort connecting rooms

As I understand it, Boardwalk studios cannot connect to studios. However, the Boardwalk inn standard rooms can connect. Has anyone had luck with requesting connecting rooms? We will be traveling with grandparents. Or, at least, rooms that are close to each other? Thank you!

You are correct about the studios.

We are 3 out of 4 when requesting connecting at BWI. Having said that, whether or not you get them is completely dependent on occupancy and how many others requested them. So that makes past experiences irrelevant as both of those will be different for everyone. To up your odds, I would call and have the 2 reservations linked as "traveling with". Then make connecting rooms your only request.
