Boardwalk questions

Hi Guys

ive never been to the boardwalk, im staying at PO;FQ

we are not late night owls at all so we plan to do the boardwalk in the early evening before heading back to Epcot to get the bus to French Quater.

what times do the restraunts and bars open at the boardwalk? do they open in the afternoon so we can stroll around and have a few drinks?

any advice/hints/tips would be greatly appreciated!

Flying Fish opens at 5, Tratorria al Forno is open for breakfast until 11 and then closed till 5 when it opens for dinner but the pizza qindow is open in the afternoon, ESPN and Big River Grille open at 11 or 11:30 for the day. Ice cream and donut stores are open most of the day and as are stores. Boardwalk players on the boardwalk get started late afternoon or early evening. The nightclub Jellyrolls opens at 7 p.m. and Atlantic Dance at 9 p.m. There is not actually a bar per se on the boardwalk; ESPN club has a bar and there is the Belle Vue Lounge inside the Boardwalk Inn which is a place to sit and get drinks but no actual bar to belly up to. Except for Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance, you can see and experience everything that goes on along the boardwalk if you are planning "early evening" but not necessarily so if mid-afternoon.

If you want the full Boardwalk experience, wait until early evening (no earlier than 6pm) when the entertainers are out. Daytime is dead on the Boardwalk. If you want to be outside and have an adult beverage, your only option is BRG which is great for a relaxing drink and people watching.

Boardwalk is definitely a fun area, enjoy!

If you don't have plans in Epcot, you might want to think about taking the boat to the Studios when you leave. It's exit is right by the Bus Stops at Disney Studios whereas the Epcot route is a long walk.

Just wanted to add that there's a Margarita stand on the Boardwalk but I'm not sure how early it opens.

Oh that's right! I totally forgot about that. Not sure about opening time either.

The food at Big River Grilling company is meh but the beer is good. We sometimes go and sit outside there and try a different beer. Don't forget that there is also the Beach and Yacht Club right across from the Boardwalk so you can go all the way around and go to one of them to have a drink or snack.

You can also head over to the Swan and dolphin. Maybe sing some karaoke.
