Has anyone been there lately? I had heard {a few years ago!} that it wasn't good at all. Has anyone tried it lately? Just wondering if it would be appetizing enough to two young teenagers :)

My family (my DH, two DS's who are in their early 20's and I) really like their pizza. We usually order a large pepperoni pizza instead of slices because I think it's fresher and cheaper that way. The only thing is that if you order a whole pizza you have to wait for them to cook it.

We were there last year and it was fine! Our past few visits we've stayed at either the BWV or BCV and each time we have had a pizza from there and they've been consistently good. I'd go for it! :)

I think it is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, and other times like right before closing... it's nasty.

DH still loves it as his meal inbetween meals. I know he'll be there several times when we're there a week from now!

One thing that is so funny--there is usually a dad hanging out by the elevators near the villas inhaling a piece of pizza before going up. I caught DH doing that too!:goodvibes

In December 2010 I ordered two slices of Pepperoni Pizza from there and thought it was very good. So next month when I am staying at the Boardwalk Inn I can't wait to go back there and order it again.

We ordered two pizzas there last month.

The three teenagers in our group enjoyed them. :thumbsup2

We gave up our ADR at Whispering Canyon that night because the kids decided they wanted that pizza.

Loved it so much during our stay in the villa's at the boardwalk our teenage boys ended up ordering one every night to take to the room.

I enjoy the pizza at Boardwalk. Sure, it wont blow you away or anything, but if you're in the mood for a pie, it will certainly do. And it's a pretty good value price wise, when compared to CS meals, etc.

So the pizza at the Boardwalk isn't the same pizza as everywhere else at WDW?

I don't think the pizza window is operated by Disney. The fact that it doesn't accept the dining plan points in that direction.

Just ate a slice while sitting at the Boardwalk pool last week. It was awesome! Wish I were there right now.
