We've added these to our LONG resort list choices, LOL:lmao: Will it ever end??:confused3 It is Sunday night and I said we were booking this weekend so....................I better get busy, HUH?:surfweb: I'll be burning the midnight or after oil tonight, LOL THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP but..............as hard as it has been to make a decision, it has been fun planning, LOL Now, once I book, then I'll have all kinds of questions about the one we pick so be prepared:rotfl2: DISBOARDS just are awesome though. Everyone has been so helpful in any questions I've had and I so appreciate it:worship:

Like both actually. But if you want pool time ...Can't beat Storm along Bay!!!:cool1:

Either resort is fantastic, and I have stayed at both. One way to narrow down the decision is whom is in your travel party. If you are going with young kids...I would choose Beach Club - really because of the pool, the arcade, beaches & cream, and the movies on the beach. The Boardwalk has a wonderful ambience...great restaurants (Flying Fish is a fav)...and the entertainment is great. But regardless of which resort you choose, due to proximity you can enjoy the 'fun' and uniqueness of each resort. I do not think you'd be disappointed either way. IMO they are 2 of the best places to stay on Epcot property. Enjoy your planning!!!

I haven't stayed at the Boardwalk but, we stayed at the Beach Club last June & it was wonderful. If you have children they will definately love Stormalong Bay & the nightime movies on the Beach.

I love BW because it's closer to ESPN and Big River -- makes it easier to crawl back to my room.

We actually liked both resorts. I prefer YC over BC lobby and they share the same pool. I think if you are bringing kids take BC or YC for the pool. If you are more interested in nightlife/shopping pick BW. This is an awesome resort area and you cant go wrong.

Ok...I have been following your thread (s)....being reminded of how it is so difficult to choose that one resort...that is going to be magical and make your stay that much better.

I enjoy your enthusiasm...but here is my two cents....you can throw it back too if you'd like:)

Do research....there is a wealth of info here on threads....thats what I did...I found it easier to read about people's experiences at various resorts....the good , bad and indifferent. Of course....I was up many a night deep into loonngg threads.

Keep in mind....a resort can be a GREAT resort, however, if a person had a negative experience there, the chances are their view of the resort may change. As oppoed to someone who had a great time there.

Everyone has an OPINION based upon THEIR own EXPERIENCE:) Which may end up being totally different than yours!

I am guilty of changing resort, room types etc.....after I have booked....so hopefully with your planning, you wont fall into that....resort changing..lol

Good luck in deciding:)
What is important to you..location...cost...amenities...? You cant go wrong, there is something at WDW for everyone!

As far as this thread is concerned....I preferred being on the yacht Club side better, more peaceful to me....although loved this area..and wont be at Boardwalk til next week!

We give BC the edge over BW but thats based on some very minor differences, the general decor, SAB, closer to B&C and slightly shorter walk to Epcot.

I agree with the poster above who suggested you consider who is in your party. If you have young children, BC is a great place to stay with the sandy-bottom pool and large slide for older children. BC also has a character breakfast which is fun for the kids. If your kids are teenager or older, or if you just have adults going, you may consider BWI as it's a little more adult-oriented than BC is. You will have dancing, entertainment, ESPN Club, fine dining right on the boardwalk. Also, keep in mind that BWI and BC are right in the same loop, so you can walk back and forth between the 2 resorts. When we stay at BC, we walk over to the boardwalk almost every day/night to enjoy the entertainment over there, rent surrey bikes, etc. It's about a 5 minute walk, I'd say. In conclusion, I'd choose the resort based on who is in your party.

We have stayed at both resorts and both are fantastic but our heats belong to the BWI.:lovestruc We especially love staying in the club level. The castmembers are fantastic are really make you feel like part of their family:thumbsup2 Both resorts have ample things to do. The whole Epcot resort area offers fantastic food options and entertainment. If you have kids, you might want to check out the BC with stormalong bay. Also depending on how long your vacation is, you could do a split stay and enjoy both resorts. Whatever you decide, have a fantastic time:woohoo:

what disneybride said is the best way.
we prefer the BW (even my young nephews & my kids always have). the BC just seems so much more noisy (the pool, the lobby, the halls).
& i was never comfortable with too many people, including a lot of little ones, packed in any large body of water ;) .
both are great resorts, but the only way to find the one you might best is to do the research & see which matches your family's vacationing style & prefeences best.
have fun planning :)
