Hello BoardWalk experts! ;) Can anyone tell me if all the standard rooms at the Inn have a daybed? Are the really only 5 feet long? Anyone ever move the matress to the floor to have a teenager sleep on it? What views are available with a standard view? Also, what size are the balconies?

Thank you. :)

I stayed there for 1 night last December before moving to BWV. Our room had a small daybed. Not sure if it was 5 feet, it was smaller than those at the GF or Poly. I don't think all rooms have them, someone posted last week that they got a room without one and switched. Standard views can be of the front driveway or the inner courtyard. Some of the courtyard rooms have Epcot views. Since it was only 1 night, I only requested non-smoking. That was a mistake. We got there around 3:00-4:00, a room was not pre-assigned, all that was left was facing the walkway to the bus stop. People were constantly walking by, talking. If we were staying longer I would have asked to switch. We had a decent size balcony, probably 2 chairs & a table with room to spare. The room itself was very nicely decorated. Same layout as the Beach Club. It worked out great with the transfer, the bellman came and put our luggage in storage and then delivered it later to our BWV room.

A teen would not be comfy on the day bed...probably wouldn't even fit. More for a toddler or 6/7 year old child, and not a tall one.

Hey Cali!

The rooms do all have a daybed, and they are shorter than those at the Polynesian or GF. More like an extended loveseat sized than a full twin. My son was probably about 5'3 or 5'4 when we stayed there, and while I think he probably would have "fit", I don't think he would have been comfortable on it.

I believe standard view overlook the bus stop and parking lot. They can be really noisy, if possible you might want to try to go for a gardenview which are very quiet.

I'm almost positive that all rooms have a full balcony. If there are some without, they are few and far between, so a request for a full balcony should be easy to fulfill.
