Boardwalk for teens?

What would teens enjoy at the Boardwalk? I thought Jellyrolls would be perfect for my very musical 15-year-old son, but was disappointed to learn that it was 21-and -up only. So given that most teens like to explore on their own - is there much for them to do at the Boardwalk or is it just restaurants and over-21 venues?

He might enjoy the ESPN Club? I'm 16 and have never been, but I know it's a sports fan's paradise... games, food, lots of televisions... haha. The pool is also well-themed, so I'm sure he could spend some good time there. You can also rent surrey bikes to take around Crescent Lake. Plus, you can visit the other Epcot resorts. The Boardwalk might be the most teen-friendly resort in WDW.

I've visited it many times, but my mom just booked it for a mother-daughter trip this February... it will be my first stay there, so I'm excited! I'm sure your son will really enjoy it. :wave2:

There's not much to hold a teen's interest, per se. There are several restaurants, an arcade next to the ESPN restaurant, and the games and other ambience of the boardwalk. There is no dance place or music that would be geared toward teens.

I have twin 14 year old boys, and we always split our stay between the Poly and the BWV...

The arcade at ESPN is fun for kids...but you can also walk over to the arcade at the BC which is even better...My kids like arcade hopping at the different resorts...

There are also several midway type games on the Boardwalk (basketball throw, shoot the water into the clowns face) as well as face painting etc...they also have magicians and other street characters on the Boardwalk throughout the evening...

alot depends on how fun you make it...if you get into it, it makes their experience that much better...

I'm thirteen and I have stayed at BWV for practically all my trips (and I have gone a lot! I only stayed at Dixie Landings twice and the rest at BWV) I love it there! Your son could just plain walk the boardwalk, sometimes there are arcade games like you see at a regular boardwalk ( you know, like when you shoot the basketballs and you get a prize) and there is a great pastrie shop and I've never been to the ESPN club, but I heard it was a lot of fun! I loved all my stays there!
