We will be at WDW this Thursday thru Sunday and my DW remembers seeing there is some kind of entertainment on the Boardwalk, not in the clubs, Thursday nights with music, karaoke, or something. Can you tell me what might be going on along the boardwalk Thursday nights?
Thanks.

Outdoor karoke? Hmmmm... I've never heard of it happening on the boardwalk but it sounds fun! :)

Maybe she's thinking of Jellyrolls?

They have lots of thing set up along the BW... a few carnival games, hair wraps, face painting, etc. It's a fun place to go. We also enjoy downtown disney at night. :)

At night they have strolling musicians, and magicians, and carnival games and things mentioned above. When we were there in May we saw a sword/fire eater. There are also surrey bike rentals. We loved it, it was so alive at night. We were staying at the BWI and the place was totally different during the day. At night it came alive! Have fun:)

OOh, I can answer this one, somewhat.
We were there Thursday, Oct 10 and the Dance Hall had no cover and a DJ. They were teaching dances too, like the Cha Cha Slide. You should go check it out, you have nothing to lose with no cover.
Also, ESPN was packed for Thursday night college football (VT/BC).

Thanks for the replys. Of the nine of us there will be two 17 year olds, one 14 year old, one 7 year old, and the rest older than I will mention here. I think Atlantic, is that the dance hall mentioned, has a minimum 21 age. What about Jellyrolls? Still trying to decide if it is worth going for an hour or two, or if we should go back to OKW and have popcorn/soda and talk or watch a movie.

There are tons of fun things to do and see at Downtown Disney. Shopping, restaurants, Ghiardelli's, Lego Land, The West Side, Pleasure Island, Disney Quest, movie theatre, etc. Lots of things besides going back to the room and watching tv. Heck, you can do that at home! ;)
Also don't forget the Epcot is open late! :)
