I would love to hear some opinions on Big River Grille and Spoodles. Anybody been to either of these lately?

Never been to Spoodles, sorry.
Big River Grille, was a disappointment.
We sat inside, because it was too hot to sit out on the patio.
Patio dining looked great. Inside, tables are on top of oneanother. Kids hated the brewery smell. Menu was nothing great, and food so-so. Service was fast.

I highly recommend the Flying Fish at the BW.

Choose Spoodles over BRG. Only go to BRG if you want a microbrew because the food was only okay. The tables are tight unless your outside. We have found Spoodles fun and good food for a less expensive alternative to several WDW restaraunts. Kids loved it. But the best restaraunt on the Boardwalk, if not the entire WDW, is Flying Fish. Wow.

We did Spoodles for breakfast with Dh and his DS her family & his parents. Everyone loved it. I even enjoyed it and I am not a breakfast eater. They had different food stations including pastrys, cereal, omlet, etc. etc. Excellent selection and a very reasonable price IMHO.

Two of our very favorite restaurants in all of WDW are at the Boardwalk - Spoodles and Flying Fish. We love Spoodles and it is the one restaurant my husband asks to eat at on every single trip. We also love Flying Fish. I think I probably had the best meal of my entire life so far at Flying Fish on our last trip! We are going back to both of these places on our upcoming December trip.

Big River is just average. Nothing special. You can probably find a dozen similar places that are just as good (or better) not too far from where you live.

never been to Big river. Spoodles was very good and came at a decent price. everyone in the family found something they liked and the service was excellent. I would not hesitate in going again.

I was not "over-thrilled" with Flying Fish, felt it was not worth the money. But, that is another posting.

Spooles has the bigest coffe cups and the coffee gets cold fast.
We have found that there is not too much of a choice for their breafast buffet for us. Their waiter/waitness have been nice just not crazy for the food. Big River is ok nothing special. Between the two go to Spooles.

Spoodles doesn't have a breakfast buffet anymore. They still do have one item on the menu that is an all you can eat platter.

Also the coffee is now brought to you in a carafe and you can pour as much as you want at one time.
