Hello! Lucky enough to be staying club level this year. In the past, we stayed in non-club garden view rooms and have enjoyed the view. I'm not sure how the view will be this year with the construction going on. We have never stayed in a Boardwalk view room. How is the noise with the doors closed? Is there an issue with birds (and bird poop) on the balconies on that side? I know that when we have been out on the Boardwalk, we have seen some pretty persistent gulls out there. I want to be able to enjoy our balcony and my husband is concerned about that. Thanks for your opinions in advance.

The only construction is the Skyliner Gondolas and they are not in the main view of the Boardwalk view rooms. The cable towers are further east, behind the BWI near the Epcot boat dock / right behind the France pavilion.

This issue with birds is seasonal and depends on how many guests are still feeding them (which they should not do).

As Dave006 noted, there isn't any construction going on in view of any of the BWI rooms. We always stay garden view whether CL or non-CL as the Boardwalk view is a little too busy for my tastes in terms of noise and view. I find the garden views at BWI to be quite lovely and relaxing.

My DD and I stayed CL at BWI last Aug. We had a fantastic boardwalk view. Noise was next to nothing. Even the boat horns were so muffled that you could barely hear them.

Boardwalk view is wonderful. There are towers related to the gondola going up adjacent to the parking lot, far out of view of boardwalk view units. We have not had trouble with gulls or other birds. We enjoy seeing them fly over crescent lake and the bird calls. Stayed in boardwalk view on every floor on the villa side many times. No problem with bird poop. The balconies are prsssure washed from time to time. Maybe that process helps.

Enjoy your trip.

There's no noise from the Boardwalk with the doors closed.
There's no issues with birds of any sort
We stay at BWI every few weeks, at least 1 night, and never even noticed the construction (yes, I know it's there but it's not visible from the rooms). Took me reading other posts to figure out what construction you were talking about, LOL
FYI - in case you aren't aware, view for CL rooms at BWI are all by request, there's no separate category between Garden and Water.

Any issues related to being close to ESPN?
We have a deluxe CL room & from what I understand they are only on the boardwalk side. Was wondering if we should ask for one closer to the lobby or closer to the east end of the building, which I would like except wonder about ESPN.

ESPN is the same, only gonna hear things if you have the door to the balcony open.
