I'm glad you like the candyland theme....but is has been switched to carnival (please excuse my confusing PJ). I hope my indecisiveness doesn't scare you away :goodvibes

haha no not at all, ognna catch up...I didnt fully read because I wanted to post first...Ill read again : )

I know I said I was going to post flowers tonight, but I am still deciding between so many, and I don't want to post them all! I do have another concern right now though  I can't decide whether or not to wear a veil. I always thought I wouldn't, but after seeing so many TR's where they look great, I kind of want one. However, I also want a really fantastic hair style, and I don't want a veil covering it. My dress is really busy too, so I don't know what to do. Here is a reminder of the dress:

What do you ladies think? :confused3

jeeze i miss a few days and i am totally lost.... ok... i like option number 2 i think it would be really pretty! I do like the cake table balloons idea better and that second picture with the big balloons was awesome! really like that one!

If you can get cotton candy as favors PELASE let me know! i would love to do something like that!

As far as the veil goes.. i was the same way... i ordered a veil off of ebay for 22$ and its super pretty! its cathedral length with crystals scattered through out. the second i tried it on i felt like a real bride and randy does some awesome veil pictures! My plan it to take it off after the ceremony since its so long and i dont want to drag it around, so i'll have pictures of me with and without it. so thats always an option for you, just wear it for the ceremony and a few shots with randy and then ditch it!

I know how you feel on the veil from. I feel the SAME way. You can do an awesome hairstyle with the veil pinned under it. But I think you will have the same issue as me. Your dress is detailed and you don't want to cover it up. I was going to suggest having it only for the ceremony as well, so you don't feel like your missing out. I say get one on ebay as well and then you won't feel like to spent so much on it if you don't end up using it or barely using it.

I think veils are gorgeous, i would suggest the same thing. wear it for ceremony and pictures then take it off for the reception so you have some pictures with it off. that way you get best of both!:cutie: by the way your dress is jaw dropping!

I like the idea of a veil too...not sure with your dress...It's SOOOO Beautiful!!

Maybe the idea of hair up, veil under?

So everyone likes #2 for ceremony decor, and the balloons on the cake table, so there is my decision!! Thanks:goodvibes

I like your idea of having the veil just for the ceremony. Than I can get some shots with it, and some without. I think if I get one I will do cathedral length as well, for me it is go big or go home :rotfl: I don't think I will wear it to my photo shoots in the AM though. I think I want more of a princess vibe in the MK photos than a bride one. I can just get Patricia to put it in when she comes back to do the girls hair.

Yes, definitely a good idea! I think I want a side pony style so I can tuck the veil under there, and it should be easy to take out. I don't think I will be able to do my side braid style with a veil though

You're so a girl after my own heart! I felt the same way... Go big or go HOME! :lmao: But yea i wouldn't get one that you're going to pay a ton of money for i strongly recommend ebay. the other thing that is good about the one i got is that there isn't alot of detail on it so it won't take away from my gown. That was one of the biggest concerns for me but its very plain other than the scattered crystals, i actually think the crystals add to the style of my gown but thats just me. So yea go with ebay or something like that is what i'm getting at.

And yes i wouldn't wear the veil for the MK shoot either... and its good that patricia will be coming back to do your girls hair and can just throw the veil in there for you! :thumbsup2

Another option with the hair is do your hair half up and half down but have the veil coming out from underneath the half up part... just another thing to confuse you :rolleyes1

Okay ladies, I am about to be really annoying by posting about 10 pictures of flowers! I really need your help, because I am so clueless when it comes to flowers!!!! I want something that goes with my carnival theme, but also looks good with SBP. I don't want to spend a lot of money, but because I already don't like most flowers, I want to make sure I end up with something I want. Anyway, here we go!!

please note: the colours are not right in most of these pictures, so please don't judge them! I am just looking for style right now

#1) Carnations, tightly bunched together. They can be one solid colour, or a variety:
flow1.jpg

#2) Carnations, hydrangeas, roses. This is the bouquet I was in love with when I was doing my former Candyland theme
flow2.png

#3) Peonies, carnations and roses. Looks really nice, but maybe too formal? And I don't know how high the price would be
flow3.png

#4) These our my favourite, but I can't find much info on them, so I don't know their availability or price. They are called football mums, and look like a giant ball of cotton candy!
flow4.png

#5) A small bouquet of peonies. I kind of like the all peony bouquet better in a smaller style
flow5.png

#6) This is clearly not shown as a bouquet, but I love it. It is a mix of dusty miller, peonies, roses, stock and gerbera daises. Would this be $$$??
flow6.png

#7) Not really sure what all the flowers are in here. I took it from my "dream wedding" (the carnival one from greenweddingshoes.com). I could use it as a colour scheme for any bouquet at the very least!
flow7.png

#8) This is the bridesmaid bouquet that goes with the one above. I like it for mine, or bm's or all!
flow8.png

#9) One more carnation bouquet! I think it would look fun to have 2 colours, one on top of each other. However, I am concerned it may look to flowergirl-ish (considering this is taken from the flower girl bouquet from my "dream wedding"). However, it is cute, fun, and probably cheap.

Alright ladies, I know that was a lot of pictures, but what do you think??? I really appreciate any help!:goodvibes

Ahhh, too many options!!! :rotfl: I will think about a veil right now before ordering one. Etsy actually has quite a few really nice ones for only a bit more than the ebay ones! (Most of the ones I like are between 20-30).

Can I wear a white veil with an off-white dress? I hate that I don't actually have my dress until feb, it is so hard to picture what will go with it!! When I tried it on in the store I had a HUGE cathedral length one on, like super long, super wide, and super detailed. I remember thinking it looked good.....but too church-y. (and chruchy is not what I am going for, at all). Maybe I will look up some pictures of different veil styles and see what I like!

OK, In order my favourites are: 4, then 1 followed by 3, and 9 for your bridesmaids.

I love number 4!!! It's perfect! I've never heard of Football Mums though, I know them as chrysanthemums so you might have more luck searching for that name... :confused3

Then I like the all carnations bouquet, it still looks pretty good, but I think could possibly be cheaper then the chrysanthemums, the one with the mix of peonies, roses and carnations is beautiful, but I'd also imagine it would be expensive

And I think the two different colours for your bridesmaids would look really good, I don't think of it as flower girly, maybe because I always imagine flower girls with baskets full of petals?? :confused3

Thanks for your help:goodvibes I did look under chrysanthemums, but I couldn't find anything similar :confused3 I'll keep trying!

I love the bouquet with the football mums! It does look like Cotton Candy.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced veil, I purchased mine from a lady I found on Ebay. Her website can be found here: http://www.bridalbylesliev.com/bridalbylesliev/index.aspx or you can search Veils by Leslie V on Ebay. I'm really happy with the one I purchased and paying $30 vs. $200 at the bridal store made it even better! I will be wearing mine under my hairstyle, much like the picture posted earlier.

Ohhh I love the football mums...I have always loved carantions...and peony's! Lol you are a girl after my own heart. Seriously though the football mums are totally my favorite!!!

another vote for the football mums! first time i have ever seen them and i am in love with them!

Thanks for showing me that website!! There are soooo many veils at such good prices!!! I think I know which one I want from there....but because I am tall, I will need to measure myself to make sure it will be the right length! I will post it once I figure out which one will work. Thanks again:goodvibes

Aren't they just precious? :lmao: Seriously though, they are so cute and girly, and I think they suit the casual atmosphere I am looking for. I also found these spider mums that I might use for bm bouquets. I think I may leave them in white as well, with a red wrapped stem?

I'm gonna try and "pull a Mandy" and try and piece all the outfits and flowers together (although I will have to find pics that look similar, since I don't have pictures of us :rotfl:)
