Boardwalk Area??

So I've always wanted to take time to explore this area and would like to get over on this next trip. Since I've never been over there, I'm looking for recommendations on what to do, etc. It would be night time before we get over, but I've heard that there are possibly street performers, etc. What time are they out, any specific locations for them, etc? As I think my kids would really like that

They're just positioned around the boardwalk. Jugglers and the like. There are a few carnival games too (costs extra to play them)

We have noticed two specific spots: On the Boardwalk Villas side next to Dundies Sundries (closer to the Big River Grill) and next to Boardwalk to Go (close to the ice cream place). There's also sometimes a guy on a bike piano thing riding around. I've noticed they usually start in the different spots at around 30 minute intervals so shows can overlap. We love the Boardwalk, it's our favorite place to stay.

The street performers are out nightly between 7 - 9 pm.

If the weather is bad, check the Boardwalk Lobby as they will move inside.
