Boardwalk area Lobster Rolls...

The BW Bakery lobster roll came with either chips or the cucumber salad. The salad was also very good.:)

Did someone say lobster roll??? And they are good??? Jumping in because I want to know more!! Yummo! Got hooked on them on a recent trip to south beach so will def be trying them on our first trip to wdw next year. Great thread!!!

I thought the Boardwalk lobster roll was pretty good, I like both claw and tail meat. I liked the lobster more than the bun.

I hear ya. I had the most amazing one in Maine last month and want more!

It is on the dining plan.

Not only that I have already planned this meal for my visit next month.

I am having the lobster roll and my dessert will be the peanut butter, banana, and candied bacon pie!! :cool1:

LOL...thats what I planned for my dessert too, but my trip isn't until February! :lmao:

I had the one from BWB this past May & thought it was Excellent! And I thought it was a great deal on the QS DDP. The roll was served cold & the meal included a side salad which was huge. They let me get an iced coffee as my beverage. :thumbsup2 Btw..it is available to go since there is no indoor seating. They give you to go boxes for everything there in my experience.

I've also tried the one from CHH which I didn't care for much. But the homemade chips it came with were really good!

The lobster roll at Boardwalk is so yummy!!! It isn't big but the roll that it is on is really soft, which I like. The lobster chunks were huge too!! Plus, great desserts!!

Havent had any other in WDW, BUT.......i arrive tomorrow and going to see if they have them at Columbia HH. Wont be in the Boardwalk area so cant try any there this time.

I've had that one and it was ok, let us know what you think - hope you enjoy! :)

Lobster rolls can be so different, and you're expecting great yummy lobster flavor and sometimes it's just blechy! So we gotta share the info on where to go for the really good ones! We definitely need someone to share about the lobster rolls at Captains grill and Crew's Cup, though they may be made the same way since they are both fro the Yacht Club, and Crew's Cup can serve Captain's menu!

Yeah, to go is great, and go sit somewhere on the Boardwalk, can't wait til I can do that in 3 months! Glad to hear it's on the DDP as a QS, that's pretty good value for a QS!

Mmmm, lots of yummy lobster! Is there a lot of lettuce on there? Now, do they toast and butter the roll? Looks really yummy, thanks for sharing the pic! Did you fee you got good value for the money - it wasn't too small or anything? TY!

Can anyone compare the lobster rolls in WDW specifically the Boardwalk Bakery to ones you would get up in the northeast. I have a house on Nantucket and when I’m their for a month during the summer I kill my fare share of lobsters eating amazing rolls. I have always assumed lobster rolls would be terrible at WDW so I have never ordered them when I saw them on the menu at a few places.

as a New Englander (and self professed "lobster roll expert"), I will just say avoid the one at HH at all costs! I had not read about it before so I was NOT expecting that flavor when I bit into it, lol. I did not care for it at ALL. Very disappointing when you're expecting that delicious lobster flavor and then get a mouthful of that citrus-y whatever it was. Did not belong with lobster,IMO!

COMPLETELY agree with this!! (New Englander here as well)....the citrusy mayo and not to mention the unidentifiable seafood bits....it was so yucky!!!

I haven't tried the one at Boardwalk Bakery but it looks delicious and pretty close to what you would find here. :goodvibes

The one at Boardwalk isn't Cape Cod quality, but it is decent . The one you can get at the Magic Kingdom is disgusting.
