We are planning on spending the afternoon at the Boardwalk/Beach Club on the Friday of our vacation. We'll rent a surrey bike, have dinner, watch some of the performers and then head back to our hotel.
We are on the dining plan, and plan to use 1TS for one of our meals that day. Right now, we are thinking that the best plan is to eat dinner at Kouzzina. Anyone have other suggestions? For instance, would we be better to eat CS for dinner and have a TS breakfast or lunch at a different resort?

Thanks! :goodvibes

MY family loves Kouzzina. We had the best service when we were there. I usually dont like to waste a TS on breakfast. It is ceratinly worth a visit.

Kouzzina is a very "different" type of restaurant, but we liked it a lot and the service was great. I got the trio sampler, the waitress warned that I might not one of the items (the lamb burger, because it was so spicy), and she was right. She offered to bring me another portion of one of the other two items. I got another portion of the greek lasagna, which was excellent.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Captain's Grille at the YC. I ordered the Lobster Roll, which was out of this world! I also heard that the dinner there is very good as well. You could always check out their menu to see if you like the selections they have for lunch and dinner.

For a TS dinner on the DDP, I would consider Cape May. Pretty good bang for the buck. Or, bang for the "credit" as it were.

Personally I would recommend going to the Beach Club and eating at Beaches & Cream. Although the only thing is they don't take ADR's and it's a small restaurant, so if there is a wait who knows how long it might be.

Forgot to mention, we already have ADR's for Cape May, on another night. What IS the Greek lasanga, I see it on the kids menu as well?

Can't say enough good things about Kouzzina. They do a great breakfast and a good dinner. They have a wonderfully varied menu, and everything I've had there thus far has been delicious. If you're on the dining plan, it's a great way to spend 1 table service credit for either meal. You'll probably get more value out of it for dinner, though.

The only real con I can give you is that it's very loud. The kitchen is on display without any obstruction at all, and the wide open dining room does nothing to hush the din roar. It probably amplifies it. If you're looking for someplace quiet or intimate, Kouzzina might not be a great pick. Otherwise, you'll find a nice meal there.

This is the dish I had and it was one of the worst things I've ever eaten at WDW. Mine was still cold in the middle; to the wait staff's credit, they did not charge me for it.

It's got lamb in it so if you do not like lamb, you would not like this dish. It did not have the huge amount of cheese like an American lasagne but it had noodles and meat/sauce with baked cheese on the top.

I, on the other hand, daydream about the Greek lasagna. I loved it so much that I question my own resolve to try something new the next time I go to Kouzzina for dinner.
