Since we booked so late our boarding time is 1:30. What time should we arrive at the terminal? Our last cruise we were on the boat by 11:30. I don't want to sit around terminal longer than I have to.

Thanks.

Open boarding usually happens about 12:30 or so. I would think that would be a safe time to get there. I cannot see you having to wait much later than 1 to get on, unless something happens and the ship is late clearing customs.

What you have is a Port Arrival Time. When you arrive at the port you will check in and receive a boarding number.
At Port Canaveral the earliest PAT is 10:30-10:45. They usually start boarding the ship 11:15-11:30 and have everyone waiting onboard by 12:30-12:45. At this point they go to open boarding meaning you check in and walk on.
So if you show up a little early at 12:30 you should be able to board before 1:00

Perfect thank you... Plus what time can you get into your cabin? I forget this time. Is it 2pm?

Does anyone know the earliest port arrival time for San Diego? Does embarkation in San Diego run quite a bit like Port Canaveral? This will be our first time to San Diego and just trying to get prepared.
Thanks!

All ports except for Port Canaveral have an earliest PAT of 11 am, including San Diego. Embarkation is run similarly at the B Street Cruise Terminal, except for parking not be available at the cruise terminal. There is a drop-off area, and depending on availability, there will be porters at the drop-off area, if not, luggage may have to be brought through the initial entry gate (where they will check your PAT and turn you away if early) and dropped-off before going into the terminal proper. Since this is a general use terminal, it is not overly Disneyified, but has some temporary decorations up. Once inside the terminal, you will go through security screening and then to the appropriate check-in lines. After that, it is rows of chairs to wait for boarding group numbers to be called. There are Shutters photographers to take embarkation photos before going up the ramp to the ship. Once at the ship, you will be greeted and announced as usual.
