I believe we can checkin at the resort, leave our bags, etc. DH has to arrive at airports 3hrs early due to having a common name. If we get boarding passes at the hotel would this bypass the "Most Wanted" list?

No, they print them fropm a computer that's tied into the same systems that the agents at the airport use.

If you go to WDW often, it might be worth it for your DH to invest in a CLEAR card.

There are a few of us on here who have them. You need to submit to a background check and give a retina scan and all ten fingerprints that are checked through FBI and other databases. Then you get that precious little card. It allows you (only you, not your entire party) to go to a special line where you do a finger scan, and then they jump you to the very head of the security line.

It's about $80 for a year, but it would cut an hour or so out of your arrival time, if you go two or more times a year it might be worthwhile.

My DH has a common name too, and the one time (post 911), that we flew they had to get his boarding pass inside the airport (we were doing curbside check in), so would I assume that we would not be able to print out boarding passes on-line for him?

It has nothing to do with a common name. It has to do with ahving your name on a watch list.

The name could be John Smith or Themarusdickale Ptinstriscwczkinsquipenhaime and either might or might not be on the list.

Airlines must choose a random number of people for "special screening" on any given flight, and that can be a once in a lifetime thing.

You won't know until you try.
