Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about this. We're planning a quick long weekend trip to Universal in a few weeks, primarily for WWoHP. We are also big Blue Man Group fans (have all of the DVDs and all the kids love them). However, DH is also a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, and they happen to be there for a Mardi Gras concert on that Saturday. So, here are my questions:

1. Any chance that we could do the 6pm Blue Man Group show and then make it over to US to catch some of the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert afterward?
2. How long of a walk would that be?
3. Do they let you in to US after the park officially closes on Mardi Gras nights?

Thanks for any input!

Having never been to BMG I can't help you as far as how long the show will last giving you time to get in the park before the park closes, the park does close at 8pm that night with the parade starting at 8pm and the concert at 8:30pm so I would assume if the show is 90 minutes or less you'd be OK anything more would be cutting it too close. As far as walking distance that won't be a problem as the BMG theater is located where the Nickelodeon Studios used to be inside the actual Universal park so it's an under 5 minute walk.

1. Probably not...I don't know how long the show lasts but that could really be pushing it. You have to take into consideration the line trying to get into the Studios. If it's long, you may not make it.

2. About five minutes walk time.

3. No...once the park is closed...it's closed.

Thank you both for your input!

Looks like we'll have to make a choice.
