Hi all,

Newbie planning first family trip to WDW. I've gone crazy with ADR's and now I have to start culling them!

DH and I are having dinner alone at Artist Point (staying at WL) one evening and are thinking about adding another should all go well with kids club. I have narrowed it down to Yachtsman or Bluezoo as both have kids clubs. Does anyone have a preference? I'm a fish eater and hubby is the steak guy, but we really want the best experience for both us and the kids (ages 6 and 4). Transportation wise I think they're about the same.

Thanks!

Never been to Yachtsman (but have read many great things) but we loved BlueZoo. We did all seafood but they had enough to accomodate a land lubber too. Very high end offerings for WDW but the atmosphere wasn't too stuffy for kids if you want to bring them.

We made an early reservation and brought our six-month old and they had no qualms about allowing us to keep him in his stroller near the table (he was sleeping when we arrived). We saw several familys with kids under 10 so as long as your kids are reasonably able to sit through a meal quietly, I'd say go for it.

I have to say that Todd English's bluezoo™ is much better for steak than Yachtsman Steakhouse. I was very disappointed in what they called a "filet" last month. I had a filet at Todd's place that met my expectations. I would recommend that over Yachtsman any day of the week.
