My family and I are planning a trip to WDW in Jan. using the dining plan. I have seen the food pics of Blue Zoo and reviewed the menu. It looks and sounds wonderful, however it is not on the plan and seems to be expensive. My question - is it worth it? Should we pay OOP for this meal and try it?

My children are 7, 5, and 2. The oldest love seafood, especially shrimp.
 
We were there last week, and although we don't have children, we did see a few in the restaurant.

I don't know if they have a special menu for kids, but I highly recommend the Blue Zoo as a "special night" restaurant. Most entrees were in the $30 to $38 range.

We did Shula's, V&A, Flying Fish, Rose and Crown, California Grille and House of Blues during our visit. Blue Zoo and California Grille were the best.
