Hi everyone,
We are taking the auto-train to FL from
Lorton, VA in the Spring, and then will drive all the way home to Massachusetts from Disney. We would like to travel through the Parkway on our way back home.
We plan on taking 95N to Route 26 over to Asheville, NC and from there driving the Parkway from Asheville to Fort Royal, VA.
Is this a good route? Is there alot of traffic?
Is 26 scenic?
Once in Asheville, is there easy access to get on the Parkway?
Is Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway the same route once we get into VA?
What are some "must-sees" along the way?
