Thinking about going to Blue Mountain Labor Day weekend.
Man, there are more accommodation options that Disney:confused3
Anyone stayed there recently?
Reviews?
Thanks:)

We love to visit but have never stayed over. I would suggest the Grand Georgian or the Westin Trillium. They are close to the village.

My friend stayed at the Westin and loved it. Travel Zoo recently had a discount for them.

The Blue Mountain website will email you specials if you sign up.

We have stayed at Mountain Springs [formerly Todd Brookers Lodge], Blue Mountain Resort and Craigleigh Provincial Park.

Mountain Springs is our favorite. We usually stay in the Cortina Bldg, main floor, studio, facing the mountain. The studio is one huge room with a full kitchen and all accessories, fireplace, living room area with pull out sofa, bedroom area with one queen bed, two outdoor patio decks with tables and chairs and jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. We LOVE the accomodations! Especially making a coffee or tea and sitting on the private deck facing the mountain, watching my kids run all over the place. The only draw back is that they only have one outdoor pool. We like indoor pools.

Blue Mountain Lodge is totally self contained ~ indoor pool, restaurants, outdoor water park [extra cost]. But the accomodations is just a hotel room.

Craigleigh Provincial Park is a campground on the lake! Look for the fossils!

The dining options are HUGE in the area!

Be sure to check out the scenic caves! That's a family favourite!

Blessings, S

I just book the deal at the Westin Trillium::banana: 2 nights, get the third 3 free:thumbsup2
I booked a 550 squ/ft. queen suite. Queen bed in a seperate bedroom, and a queen pull out sofa in the living room, with a kitchenette(fridge, two burner stove, coffee maker, toaster, dishes).... total with taxes $574 for 4 days, 3 nights.
It ain't BWV, but it's a nice, fairly local get away for our family:love:

Check out the Plunge! Water park. It is fab. And right next to the Westin. There is a nice beach at Craiglieth.

Copperblue is our favourite place to eat and we also like Firehall Pizza.
