Blue Man Prices

When go to the universal website it lists the blue man prices at $60 (for the cheapest tier) - is that rate already a discounted rate? I thought that once I upgraded to my annual pass I would get a discount on the blue man tickets but I just read somewhere that the ap discount rate is actually 60. I think I'm confusing myself, not sure how that's a discount for ap holders if you can already get that price on the regular website.
