Blue Man Group Show ?

I wouldn't compare Cirque Du Soleil and BMG - they are completely different experiences, in my opinion. We love CDS, but were disappointed by the Orlando BMG. That said, it is very clever and very funny, and we did enjoy the show. We went with my Mother-in-law which was a bad idea - she absolutely hated it and wanted to leave half way through! The music does get very lound, and it's not a show to go to if you're especially shy -- she was petrified she would be picked out of the audience. If I had to pick one of the two, it would definitely be CDS, but if you can do both then do.

we're the opposite...
like the cirque in orlando, don't like blue man group...
funny..

but i agree with you on the 2 cirques in vegas...we didn't like either of them....
we only like the cirque de soleil in orlando...
There have been 6 Cirque shows in Vegas for a while now, Beth....which two did you not enjoy? We love 'O' and Mystere, but didn't enjoy the others so much.

We saw 'O' in Vegas and CDS at DTD, They are Ok and 'O' is very cleverly done but they just don't do it for me. I love, comedy, theatre, live music of any just about any kind but Cirque shows, Ballet and Opera are things that I can live without seeing again. But I appreciate many many people like them and would recommend everyone to see them and make up their own mind.

With my student card my ticket was just $25 which was a huge saving!:thumbsup2

did you have the normal nus extra card or the one that has isic as well?
mines just the normal one, will i still get discount?

the photos look great im torn between blue man and cirque now

we saw O and Mystere (during our one and only visit to vegas)....of the two, we preferred mystere, but i couldn't say we enjoyed either of them the way we enjoy La Nouba in Orlando...

the only thing i don't like about la nouba? the clowns...clowns give me the creeps....but other than the clowns, we very much enjoy it...all four of us do...

well we do like ballet and opera, so maybe that has something to do with it...i never thought of that......
the first time we saw it, DD and DS both wanted to buy the CD of the music.....which was odd to me, since it's not exactly whistling a happy tune sort of music...
in any case, all four of us enjoy everything about la nouba (other than the clowns  )

I had both my uni ID card (which is also a normal NUS card) as well as my NUS extra card which includes isic but either would have been fine. It doesn't need to have isic on it as far as im aware. As long as its obviously a student id card then it should be accepted. As my photo was on the front of my normal NUS card (whereas they didnt notice my photo on the back of my NUS extra/isic one) i think they accepted my normal NUS card so im sure youll be fine with just a normal nus extra card.

Hope this helps. Sorry its a bit confusing!

Brill Thanks!! :thumbsup2

I've been wondering about the BMG show too, but was unsure if it was suitable for all ages. Now, thanks to this thread, I'm probably adding it to our list of "must do's" for our trip next April. :thumbsup2
