We went in Oct last year and really enjoyed it. Nice beach and lot to do. We did not rent snorkeling gear but my son and I went out with goggles and only saw 2 fish swimming in the open and when we dove down to the bottom to look around some logs that were on the bottom only saw a few very small fish. Its not that deep, you can walk up to your shoulders almost everywhere you are allowed to swim. No real corral or rocks, just a lot of sand on the bottom and some spots with sea grass, so not that great of environment for snorkeling. Did find a lot of small shells that my DD really liked. As stated in another reply, bring some extra money. If you want to play on the inflatables that is extra and they rent a lot of other water craft. They had some big construction equipment at the end of the beach and a section roped off that you could not pass. We could not tell what they were working on but nothing was being done that day. My DS and DD really enjoyed the inflatables, and my wife really liked that not a lot of people were on the beach. Overall it was just a really good beach to hang out at and enjoy the sand and the water, or just get away from Nassau. Enjoyable boat ride as well. We would do it again.
