Blue Goose Trip

How can you guys plan where you want to eat already :rotfl: I think I will wait to decide until we are ready to make ressies !

The only place I know for certain that I want to try is Boma for dinner

She said it. :)
It's way to early to think about meals.:rotfl:

Know where I want to eat? That new Asian place at AK..

but I think I will get to try it before November.

I saw that! I wonder what foods they will serve?

I might do that as one of my counter service options.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will have a new Asian inspired full serve restaurant in the Anandapur section this summer. There will also be a counter service option available as well as a retail section featuring sushi ware, teapots and chopsticks.

Then don't. Nobody said you had to.

:stir: :rolleyes1 kidding...I couldn't resist. :rotfl:

I say make it easy we'll eat at Park Faire everynight. :)

I know you all don't want to admit that was your favorite restaurant. :rotfl:

Sounds good to me!! Should we do a poll? :rolleyes1

Actually I think I am the only one who didn't hate it there. :rotfl: The food was ok and I got a nice seat on the end. :teeth:

LOL
Anita's just grouchy cause she has to wear khakis and work with chemicals. And Joanne is a New Yorker. She can't help it. :rolleyes1

:rotfl: ;)

That's right, remember Missy is the nice New Yorker.:)

I didn't move to the suburbs until I was 27
Flipping the bird was very common to us growing up in Queens. :teeth:

The seating was horrible for us in the middle! I thought the food tasted okay but I felt really nauseous after I left. I don't think anything was wrong with the food I think I just mixed too many different types of food and my stomach rebelled. But I have no desire to go back and try again. I am really not a buffett eater but I do want to try Boma, if it is anything like the breakfast it will be great!

I've been to Boma 3 times for breakfast and it was great everytime. I'll go back for dinner if anyone makes ADRs for that.

Okay, I called and got more info this a.m. on the International Dinner and Illuminations Dessert Reception.

This is what I was told....

The dinner usually starts around 7:30. There are characters that show up, but they are different everytime.

It's at the Odyssey restaurant which is by Mexico and Test Track.

For the dessert part, there is seating. That surprised me but that's what she said. I even asked twice. :confused3
Some of the desserts are tiramisu, various pastries, cookies, brownies, krispy treats, fresh fruit, and something with berries, a custard or something that I can't remember.

You can use the DP, it's 2 credits.

Now the bad news.....

Last year during the Food and Wine Fest they did NOT have this available and there is a chance it won't be again this year.
They won't know until about 180 days out when the schedule comes out.

So for now we can plan on it and hope for the best. :wizard:

Beth Absolutely sign me up for this one! Those of you talking about wine pairings and whatnot--I'm interested in those as well . . . As for food and ADRs I don't think I'm going to do the dining plan--unless we get a deal for our Sept trip and I don't buy and AP, but i'm budgeting for food!!

I couldn't find anything on the CG menu that I would eat.

Kat, I just looked at the menu, and I don't think I would like it either.

I know, I am nuts since I am the one that brought it up. :rotfl:

I had just always wanted to eat there during the same time as the fireworks.

Well, that lets it out here too, because I love the food but won't go for the fireworks, been there, seen that, too many people up there for it.

while I have been reading trip reports, when they mention the restaurants I go look at the menus. That gives you an idea of how bored I have been :lmao:
