Blue Goose Trip

Hi Shirley!!

OMG, it's so good to hear from you! We miss you!!

I had a great time with you on this trip and would love it if there was some way you could make it in November. We could go on Splash Mountain again, and again, and again. And on Expedition Everest, being the wild woman you are!! It would be the first time for us both!! :yay: :yay:

Keep in touch, and remember we'd love to see you again.

I don't know if I'm that wild of a woman yet. :lmao: It might be that I am coming this November, keep your fingers crossed.

I'm keeping mine crossed because I'll be bringing up the rear right there with you, Shirley!

Really?!?!?!? YAY!!! :woohoo: :yay: :cool1:

EE here we come.....:rolleyes1 ;)

Shirley you should think about booking a room just in case. If you book a room only, you can use a AAA discount and it doesn't have to be canceled until 5 days before hand. At least you'd have it.

That's great Shirley! :cool1:

you'll be fine on EE.
I went on it last month and loved it. :yay:

Did I hear Shirley was going to ride EE in November? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Ya'll think I said a bad word going down that last drop on Splash Mountain  I would be scared to think what would come out of my mouth the whole time I was on EE. :rotfl: Ya'll might hear things you never heard before and from a granny at that. :rotfl2:

Dont be silly. We like it when you talk dirty to us ;)

Haaa! :lmao: My boys tease me because I love the fast/scary rides, but I "scream like a girl"! I love the rides, but gotta yell! Shirley, I'll go with you on EE! You can yell obscenities galore, and I'll scream and no one will be the wiser!:cool1:

At the 6 month mark, how to we go about making resies? How did this work last year? Do we just post something like "who wants to eat at Le Cellier on Saturday"? Do you think that there's going to be any planned ressies for the larger group?

Last year we had one person who wanted to handle all the ressies and then she just ended up not doing any of them, so we had to have others step up and make them.

This year, I think it's best if there is someplace you'd like to go, then you can figure out when and post it and see who'd like to join you. It's easier, I think to have several people handling their own ADR's.

But of course, if anyone else has an idea they'd like to try out they are welcome to post it. Everything is really about trial and error at this point.

Beth, I just asked on the Disney Dining Plan page and was told that yes, we can use 2 credits for the International buffet thingy! Whoo hoo! Count me in.

Now that I've confirmed that I'm going, I'd be happy to coordinate any resies, if people want that. I'm pretty reliable and would get it done and give everyone enough notice.

Okay, I thought I had read that but wasn't sure how many credits it was.

As far as the ADRs it's really up to the group as a whole how they'd like to handle it. I think for most, it's kind of early to really start thinking that detailed yet, especially when quite a few of them are planning their SWW trip still.

I won't be on the DP so I don't anticipate doing many TS meals, so you'd really have to talk to those who are planning to. :)

I don't plan on being the party of ANY massive ADR's. I don't want my absence from something to cause issue at a reservation for anyone. My plan is to group together with a smaller table and ask to be seated near others if its a meal where a larger group (or group of groups) is gathering. If I can't be near everyone, its not a problem to me. You can only carry on so much of a conversation yelling over to another table anyway.

If I decide to participate in the Illuminations thing Beth posted about, I will handle that differently as we may need a group to participate (I think its a GG thing, right?) But if I am spending that kind of money, I'm sure to show up. :thumbsup2

Between the two of us, one screaming and one cussing they will throw us out of the park. :rotfl2:

I'm doing it the same way. I much prefer meals with a small group.
I only get to see some of you once maybe twice a year and would like to make the most of it.

I'm looking forward to see you all again ,not just a wave across a big dinner table.

It's a GG. But not everybody has to be a registered part of the GG. Somebody on another thread said the group had to be 80% GG.

I'm thinking about this one too but the only night I have free is Sunday. I'd also have to see what Food & Wine is offering.

It's always nice to have someone else bringing up the rear. Can always use the company. :thumbsup2

When the time comes, I am going to make a reservation at House of Blues for the Gospel Brunch on 11/4. I hope there will be some who will join me. :goodvibes

As people make and finalize plans that are open to the group, I would be happy to organize that info with contact #'s and have a copies for everyone in the group. That way if one of our group had a 6 O'clock Spoodles reservation one evening and welcomed others to join, that would be included on the schedule with the contact # of the person who made the reservation so they could meet up. I hope I worded that clearly.
