I think I know the answer to this but want to make certain...

I already have a blue card for BLT ... if I buy more resale points WITH the same use year I assume those would fall under the same contract which means those points would fall under the blue card too?

The points would still be resale. You would not get an additional card but the points would be restricted.

No, they would still be a different contract number and they would not qualify for another blue card, but it doesn't really matter since you already have a blue card from your first purchase.

The points would be under the same membership number but could not be used to reserve Riviera, the Disney Adventures, or the Disney Hotels (with a couple exceptions). Buying those resale points has no impact, one way or the other, on being able to use your existing membership blue card for all the incidental benefits that do not depend on actually using points to be able to get them, such as merchandise, event, restaurant and ticket discounts, Moonlight Magic, Epcot Lounge.

Disney is very good at keep track of which points are Direct (thus qualifying for the 'benefits') and which points are Resale. So, they will not count your resale points towards your direct benefits.

Resale points are just that resale points no matter if they match your current direct buy from Disney. The resale points will come with all the restrictions set upon resale points
