blue bayou louisiana lemonade

we visited Disneyland just before school started (as our last summer activity!!)

we had a great lunch at the blue bayou

and I loved the Louisiana lemonade sooo much that I duplicated it.

I did find clues online to the recipe as follows (and perfected it):


3 oz sprite
5 oz minute maid lemonade
1 squirt mango torani's syrup
2 squirts raspberry torani's syrup

over rocks.

don't mix fully, just lightly.

I have found this is the closest I can get to the real thing

Don't forget some mildly muddled mint..

It appears more red from the raspberry here, but I couldn't really tell the color inside the bayou due to the lack of light.

Do you think that the Blue Bayou will make it without the mint? I don't like mint in drinks, but everything else sounds yummy.

hmmm I missed the mint.

but I wanted to stress that most people that posted the recipe skimped on the sprite, and it has to have that soda taste with raspberry on it

so yes, 3/5 is the right mix for sprite and the lemonade.

torani has a website too, u can order bottles directly from them.

they have like 50 flavors.

If you have a Cost Plus near you, they usually have a large assortment of Torani syrups.

BevMo also carries a wide selection. I've also found some of the more common Torani flavors at gourmet grocery stores.
