If looking for another dessert option , the lounge at Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel is wonderful.
As it is bar seating it would have to be adults but wanted to toss it out there as they simply have the best creme bruelle imo along with a yummy Root Beer Baked Alaska and of course the 24 layer cake![]()
If you want to go somewhere with amazing desserts, go to Napa Rose! You can go just for dessert and what they have is soooooo good.
You can also just go into the lounge portion of Napa Rose and order anything off the drink, appetizer or dessert menu without waiting for a table . The World's Best Hot Chocolate and cheese sampler platter while relaxing in the comfy chairs during winter time to end a cold day in the park is the way to go!
That's what we did, too! I had the World's Best Hot Chocolate (comes with 2 homemade doughnuts, as I recall) and other people in our group ordered different things but they all liked mine the best. The homemade ice cream was delicious too. I think my sister had Irish coffee and we were in a nice cozy spot near the fire, which was so relaxing, just as ParkHopper said. It was a nice way to end a January day after being in the parks.
Is the Worlds Best Hot Chocolate NON alcoholic?
Yes. It is very thick. Don't consider it "drinking" hot chocolate. It is a dessert. Is the Worlds Best Hot Chocolate NON alcoholic?
We went to BB just for dessert at around 3pm in the afternoon. Wanted to experience Blue Bayou, but not pay for a whole dinner (that my girls probably wouldn't even like!) so this was great!
They still gave us the bread basket too.
It was Halloween when we went so I had the Minnie Mouse demitasse cup with a pumpkin chocolate mousse, very yum! And you got to keep the cup. The girls had a chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce, and my Mum had a key lime pie. They were around $8 each.
We had a reservation but just told them when we got there that we just wanted dessert. Was a fun experience!
What a great idea. We were there a few days ago and wasted so much food because we didn't want to carry leftovers with us. If you don't do desert only, I recommend sharing meals as they are large.
I just made reservations and it will be my first time there. Do they also offer appetizers? I'm leaning toward just an appetizer and dessert since they are so expensive, but I do want to try it once!!
Not anymore. Here are current menus for the Blue Bayou.
Enjoy!
