Blu Ray player and movie incompatability

Well as was announced this week by Denon who by the way was/is to produce a high end Blu Ray player, There seems to be an imcompatability with the players and the new disks coming out for Blu Ray. The Blu Ray players including the PS3 are all currently profile 1.0 and in Q2 08 they are supposed to be getting disks set for profile 1.1. Denon has disciovered a problem with teh disks the new 1.1 disks are incompatible with the 1.0 players. The new features and javascripting on the new disks is making them unreadable by the 1.0 profile players currently available and no one out other than Denon has a profile 1.1 player. Denon themselves are still not ready to launch the new player till Q4 08.

This could be a back breaker to the Blu Ray camp I am glad I threw my support behind HD DVD even with the Disny titles being offered on Blu Ray it wasn't enough to make me spend over double the price on a player and now to learn the new disks are likeley not going to work in the old players.
