So, did anyone do the virtual tour yet? Here are my thoughts.

I like the styling a lot. Nicely done.
Family Room in the 2BDR doesn't have a balcony. It would have been nice to have that, JMHO
Master Bedroom Bath has a unique sliding door feature. Not sure if really was a pass through or just a quirk of the Virtual Tour
Studio seemed very small as far as the space where the bed and couch are located.
Studio Kitchenette is a galley style, not sure if I like that. Seemed to be crowded.
Virtual tour showed the Studio Bathroom vanity facing the Kitchenette. Hopefully that is a mistake.

Overall it was nice. I look forward to staying there next year.

I too thought the Studio was MAJOR Crammped looking. Wise and I both were like, WOW! IMHO--the rooms look very nice and simple...not sure about "contemporary"....but surely nice.!

Loved the virtual tour, but can't wait to see the real thing!!

I agree about the studios, seemed VERY tight and I DID NOT like the placement of the bathroom vanity! I really wouldn't like brushing my teeth and washing my face across from the counter where I would be making my morning toast!

What it looks like is that they extended the family room out in place of a balcony. If you look to the right there is a door from the family room out to the balcony of the master bedroom. So basically the last few feet of the family room are the same place as the balcony in the bedrooms.

I absolutely love the island instead of the 'L' shape counter, a little less counter space but you don't have to walk all the way around to get to the kitchen.

don't like the virtual drawings so will just have to go look at the real thing tomorrow evening. The models will be open for DVC members only for a limited time.

There was a DVC special tonight on the Travel Channel and they showed it on there. I think they are really cute!!!

I may be alone but I like the theme. My favorite decor of all the DVC's is SSR-more towards my taste at home. But when I am on vacation (especially at WDW) I like the variety in themes. I think the new villas have a comtemporary theme that is fitting of the 1970's icon it is adjacent to. I love the dining table. Can't wait to stay there!

I like that the balcony is not off the main living area- if I'm sleeping in the master where the balcony IS, I don't have to worry about any kids sneaking out onto a very high balcony where I'm NOT. (I have an autistic son who fear is not a factor for).:scared: But we always request low floors when he's with us, anyway.
