BLT Theme Park View Studios are generally not available at the 7 month mark - is there a way to walk to an MK viewing point if you're staying there with a Lake View? I'm a White Card Hobo so can't access the newly refurbished Top of the World Lounge.

The skybridge from BLT to Contemporary is still a good viewing area.

Also, you can ask for specific lake view room preferences. I had a 1 bedroom lake view this past April with a view of the Theme Park. Request an even numbered room, North side.

Walk over to the Contemporary. There's an outside deck with good views at the end of the walkway, just before you enter the Contemporary.
In mid-June, the outside deck at the Contemporary was blocked off for a refurbishment. Not sure what they are doing or how long it will take.

We watched from the walkway or from our standard view rooms.

Our family had 2 studios and a 2BR all standard view on the third floor. Even numbered rooms on the tennis court side (I think it was North). All the rooms had great views of the MK fireworks.
There was also a channel on TV that broadcasts the music.

It was awesome to sit on the balcony and have fireworks so close and use far fewer points. Only the 2BR was booked at 7+ months. The two studios, I was constantly checking inventory and booked them under 7 months, so standard view is possible (but not easy) to get under 7 months.

Ask for an even numbered, north side room. If you get it, you'll have a view of Tomorrowland, and, to the left, the castle and fireworks.

IMO, the sky bridge between the Contemporary and BLT is a great spot in which to watch the fireworks.

A word of warning, though... There is no place at BLT or the Contemporary where you see the castle projections during the fireworks.

Doublecheck the doors on the emergency stairwells
I think they automatically lock and Do Not allow re- entry .
So you would have to walk down the stairs.

I noticed WDW had placed their barricade of potted plants to block off part of the viewing balcony.
And I seem to recall a portion is sometimes “Sold” as event .
Does anybody else remeber this happening last year?

July 3, 2019 wehad a standard studio, and never made it up to TOTW,
