BLT Shakers Dining Review with pics!!!!

A few hours later we found ourselves in World Showcase - and a little hungry! Margaritas & nachos for all!

The margaritas were from the stand in Mexico - and they were AWFUL! We both threw them out after just a few sips. They just tasted like ice & alcohol, no flavor at all. The nachos were good but nothing spectacular, from Cantina de San Angel.
 
That night we had an ADR for Le Cellier at 7:25pm to celebrate Linda's birthday. We checked in around 7:10 & were seated around 7:45. We had a new server, he told us it was only his 2nd day, and he did a great job.

3 of us had the same thing - the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet - one had Pan Seared Scallops & the other had the appetizer of Duck Three Ways. I don't know what kind of Braised Beets they served with the scallops - they were bitter & horrible! I'm not a fan of beets but will try anything. I could barely swallow my bite! 3 others tried & also said they were foul. Must be an aquired taste!

I asked for mine medium-well, and it came out with no pink, it seemed overdone. It wasn't the best filet quality I've had. Everyone agreed it was good but not the greatest. We all also agreed the risotto was hard. I don't care for risotto to begin with, but the little crunchiness really turned me off!

All in all it was a good meal but I don't need to go back to Le Cellier anytime soon. This was my third so-so meal here, I'm not sure what the big hype is over Le Cellier. Maybe I just had bad luck all 3 times! I was a little disappointed that they didn't even say Happy Birthday to Linda. I did note on the ADR that it was her birthday - and she had her Birthday pin on. I know they don't have to do a thing - but I heard a bunch of others around us getting Birthday Wishes & little desserts or writing on their plates. No biggie, but that really would have bee nice!

Lunch was a quick stop at Columbia Harbor House - my favorite CS in all of WDW! Carol & I split the Anchors Aweigh sandwich - the best tuna sandwich EVER on multi grain bread....and an order of Fish & Chips. It was the 1st time I had the Fish & Chips & they were really good! Everything was tasty & fresh, as usual.
