We are staying in October at BLT for the first time as well and were told North side, upper floor, even number.

Apparently you might get a view of MK that way.

I am sure one of the more seasoned BLTers will have something to offer as far as room requests.

We had lake view room 8140 and had the perfect view of Magic Kingdom. We have requested that room again or any other directly above or below it.

Probably the best request you can make is for a higher floor and an even numbered room (outside of tower). I actually prefer the view to south as you can see the CR pool, marina, boats, monorails, Epcot fireworks, and a great view of the Electrical Water Pageant. If you want to see MK fireworks, go to TOTW! ;)

Just keep in mind that making a room request is simply a request and that it may or may not be fulfilled regardless of availability (current or future). The system starts assigning rooms based upon available inventory (especially for online check-in) early in the morning and does not look at future inventory for that day (villas being turned over that day will not show in available inventory until they are cleared by mousekeeping). If there are more reservations than rooms in the initial round of assignments, you'll get the dreaded "we'll text you when your room is ready by 4:00" spiel. If all else fails and you are not satisfied with the first villa they offer, ask if there is something else that meets at least some of your request criteria.

Forget about it. Made this same request last Nov and got pretty much the exact opposite. Got an odd number on the South side. So disappointing. I don't even think the room I wanted was occupied.

We've stayed at BLT twice and requested an even number room north tower both times...last year we had a room on the 12th floor on the inner circle on the south side.....2 weeks ago we were assigned room 8106 ...11th floor north tower and had a great view of the magic kingdom.....as others have mentioned it all depends on what rooms have guests departing on the day your checking in?...sometimes they can meet your requests other times they unfortunately can't

Tell me again why most people request even number. Does it have anything to do with the kitchen island having bar stools? The only time we've stayed in a two bed, we did not have bar stools. I really want them this time as more family will be joining us this trip.

Any "better" views if we have a standard view 2 bedroom booked? I think I was just going to request "close to an elevator" since I didn't know if there were any better views I could get in standard. Oh, I think I got this confused w/ our BWV request. For BLT I was going to ask for "6th floor or higher, even number, north side".

Even # rooms are on the outside of the building. If you get a north tower lakeview in an even room, you could possibly have a partial MK view.

If you have a standard view booked at BLT I don't think standard view rooms are that high up...I believe most are on the 1st and 2nd floor

We have a lake view studio for August and requested 2nd floor--my DD doesn't want to be up too high with DGD. CM said it was the first time she'd ever heard a request like that before! A MK view would be nice, though.
