BLT price increase Nov 1 - $120 pp

Just got a notice from DVC in the mail today that effective November 1, 2009 BLT price goes from $112 to $120 per point. Who what discounts they might have......

We're buying BLT today. $112/point with $5/point going towards our downpayment. That's the only incentive I know of right now.

They told us the price was going up Oct. 4th.

I believe the November 1 price increase is for existing members to add-on.

The new member price increase is supposed to go into effect Oct. 4

How in the world? We just got all set and are waiting for our papers to close at Doorway to Dreams (woodfield). We got $112pp minus a $5 incentive. How did you get that price? And is too late for me to throw a fit about this?

mccathy: I know that the $96 price was part of the Long Island Doorway to Dreams grand opening incentives. The offering expired on Oct. 3rd. according to my guide. I am one of the lucky ones who bought in before the deadline at the NY location.

Our guide Sharod took good care of us.

It's expensive...that's for sure. I'm not just talking price per point either. Geesh, glad I'm not the only one that thinks about a sandwich (whenever I see BLT)

It's the button on the right side of the touch pad. Will give you a menu window, select "save picture as".

We went to the presentation for the first time over the weekend and are REALLY interested. But even at $112pp it is a big jump. I wouldn't mind getting BLT at a lesser price. I guess you're the lucky one

Doorway to Dreams is a DVC "store". One was just opened in NY and in order to get the deals, you have to purchase onsite.

There is also one in IL (I believe). There are some people on the boards who said they live in other states but actually found cheap airfare and flew to NY last weekend so they could buy and get the better price!

We added on 50 points for BLT last week. The price was $112./point plus an extra $250. off for purchasing 50 points. That Made the effective price $107./point. You can add as little as 25 points if you wish, but must buy 50 or more to finance through Disney.
