BLT - Lake Views???

I've been dreaming about booking a lake view at BLT, but I'm not convinced the points are worth it!

Show me your LAKE VIEW!!!

We were VERY happy with our lake view. From the 10th floor we could see FOREVER! If we "needed" a MK view, we walked to the elevator area!

I don't have pics to share, but I can offer that I do feel the points are worth it. We loved sitting on our balcony and watching the little boats go back and forth on Bay Lake. It was very relaxing and it did add to our vacation. I originally had a lake view because all the standard views were taken for our week, but I'll definitely be booking a lake view again.

I've looked at the BLT views thread since the resort opened and I think I'm convinced to go for it!! I'm so afraid of getting a low floor though.

Hello, We stayed at BLT LV room 8011 last year as a cash reservation so I can't speak for the points side but I can speak on the LV side. We loved it. We had a 1 bdrm villa, inner circle and it was fabulous. We were on the shuffle board side with the pool to our left. I did put in a request for a higher floor and that was my only request. It was so quite which was a definite plus. We are staying there again next year only in a TPV 1 bdrm villa. We just love the whole BLT/CR area. I just went to look for my pictures and sorry they are on my DH computer.

What should I request? high floor? I bet everyone requests that!

Definitely ask for a high floor and you can ask for a even number room to be on the outside of the "C", or north end to in hopes of getting a view of MK.

This was from our last lake view on the north end where we could also see the castle and space mountain. We like views, and the two lake views we've had at BLT have been fabulous.

I think the lake view is breathtaking! I don't think I'd ever book MK view honestly! I can't wait!!!
