I (family of 5) currently have a BLT 1BR Standard room reservation for my planned trip next summer (August). I am considering inviting my parents (in their 70's) along and either upgrading to a 2BR Lake View (standard not available), or having them stay somewhere else and using our 1BR BLT room as a "base" where they could come back and hang out if they decide a full day in the parks is too much. Is there a way I can give them access to my 1 BR if they are not staying there WITHOUT giving up one of our magic bands? Presumably we would be in the park so we would need all of the the magic bands that would be assigned to our room. You can also assume they would be staying somewhere else on property.

TIA!

You mean I could assign a room key to an old magic band? I definitely have one. Tell me more...
You don't do anything other than give them the old MagicBand(s). It must still be marked as active in your MDE profile. They could then use the MagicBand(s) to enter the room at BLT.

Another option would be to ask the front desk at BLT for key cards to the room.

Thank you! This is just the information I was looking for.
